About the event
Join us at our chapter meeting to hear Jessi Miller, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Biologist, share insights into the most recognized butterfly-- the Monarch. Monarchs are well known for their migration to the mountains of central Mexico each fall; some traveling as far as 3,000 miles. In December of 2024, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed Endangered Species Act Protection for Monarch butterflies. Jessi will share more information about the monarch, this important decision, as well as some information about other important pollinators; native bees.
This event is open to everyone! RSVP is not required, however if registered, you will receive updates and reminders about the meeting.
