About the event

Join Denise Gibbs, USFS biologists, Master Gardeners, and BENA members to improve the meadow habitat for Monarchs and other butterflies. We will be planting seeds and 4” deep plugs of native milkweeds, then watering them.

Meet at the dirt parking lot by the entrance to Cave Springs Campground. There is additional parking along the roadside but carpooling is strongly recommended. Wear sturdy shoes and BYO gardening gloves, trowel, and some gallon milk-jugs of water.

Walk-up restrooms are available in the campground. RSVP to Monarchtagger@gmail.com.
