BENA is thrilled to announce its partnership with the City of Sedona for the city's first-ever butterfly festival, "Swirling over Sedona: A Celebration of Butterflies!" on Saturday, September 12th, 9 a.m. to noon at the Sedona Wetlands Preserve.
Join us for this FREE, fun-for-all-ages event to learn about butterflies and the plants they need to thrive, butterfly games and crafts.
Butterfly-related items and native plants will be available for purchase. Plants for sale include several milkweed species and other native butterfly host and nectar plants. Butterfly-related items for sale for donation include butterfly art, clothing, jewelry, stained glass, stickers and more!
Monarch butterfly tagging demonstrations will take place at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Please note: Donations for butterfly-related items are cash only - no checks or credit cards accepted.
