About the event
Join Becky Hardy for a butterfly field trip along Jail Trail in Cottonwood. We will walk approximately 1.5 miles on mostly flat trails. Some parts of the trail are in full sun. Some species we may see include: Southern Dogface, Sleepy Orange, Checkered White, Queen, Viceroy and Golden-headed Scallopwing.
Bring the following: binoculars and/or camera, hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hydration, snack. No restrooms available. No pets please. A $5 donation per person is appreciated to support BENA. Rain will cancel the event. For questions, contact Becky at azbutterflygirl@outlook.com.
Meet in the Jail Trail parking lot in Old Town Cottonwood. Carpooling is recommended.
