Join us for a community science event to count butterflies within a 15-mile diameter circle! Sponsored by the North American Butterfly Association, the count circle includes state and national park lands, national forest, riparian habitat, and public gardens. Participants will be assigned to a butterfly expert group leader and a sector within the count circle. Counters may join for all or part of the day. No experience necessary!

BYO binoculars (close-focusing if you have them), camera (optional), hydration, food and field gear. Please RSVP to Denise Gibbs at Monarchtagger@gmail.com to receive meeting place location, directions, and last minute updates.

This event is open to everyone!
