About the event
Join Becky Hardy for an afternoon butterfly field trip at Willow Lake in Prescott. We will stroll along a flat trail, looking for fall butterflies, staying in mostly the same areas with blooms. Some possible species observations include: Monarch, Dainty sulphur, Southern dogface, Ceraunus blue, Common checkered-skipper.
Be prepared to spend the whole time in direct sun. Bring the following: binoculars and/or camera, hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hydration and a snack. This event is open to everyone!
