Field Trip: Butterflying at Bubbling Ponds Preserve

Join Becky Hardy for a butterfly field trip at Bubbling Ponds Preserve. We will walk approximately 1.5 miles on mostly flat trails, looking for spring and other expected butterfly species. Possible species include: Two-tailed Swallowtail, Black Swallowtail, Sara Orangetip, Juniper Hairstreak, Zela Metalmark, Red Admiral.

Bring the following: binoculars and/or camera, hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hydration and a snack.

Rain will cancel this event. This event is open to everyone! A $5 donation per person is appreciated. A vault toilet is onsite and carpooling is recommended.
