Field Trip: Butterflying in Camp Verde

Join Becky Hardy for a butterfly field trip at Clear Creek Campground in Camp Verde. We will walk approximately 1 mile or so on mostly flat trails, in grassland and riparian habitats. Please note, there may be some uneven, rocky spots. We will be looking for spring and other expected butterfly species. Possible species include: Two-tailed Swallowtail, Southern Dogface, Painted Lady, Red Admiral, Hoary Comma, Common Streaky Skipper.

Bring the following: binoculars and/or camera, hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hydration and a snack.

Rain will cancel this event. This event is open to everyone! A $5 donation per person is appreciated. A vault toilet is onsite.
